1. P. Kalinga Rao
Pandeshwara Kalinga Rao (1914-1981), was a prominent bhavageethe and sugama sangeetha singer and music composer. He is credited for popularizing Kannada bhavageethe and has sung few popular songs in Kannada movie such as "anthintha hennu neenalla".
Honestly, I came across his contribution to bhavageethe and folk world while I was creating this blog. He is the original singer and music composer of numerous sugama sangeetha such as "Ilidu baa taaye", "Baagilolu kai mugidu", "Elladaru eru","Aluva kadalolu", "moodal kunigal kere", "Brahma ninge", "Helkolak ondooru" etc.,.
